Tuition for on-campus classes
The full charges for a term of school are due on registration day for that term. If a student is unable to pay in full on registration day, satisfactory arrangements must be worked out with the billing department for paying off the unpaid balance. A 10% carrying charge may be added to any unpaid balance.
A non-enrolled person (such as a student’s mate, local church member, etc.) may sit in on classes and pay only an audit fee (which is one-third the regular cost). An auditing student receives no credit for the course.
We are able to offer a low tuition because our faculty receives no salary. They “live of the Gospel” laboring in local congregations and speaking in the U.S. and even abroad. We also receive donations from those with a desire to see more workers in the Kingdom. Our facilities are modest but adequate.

Degrees Offered
The following degrees are currently offered at MSE:
BACHELOR OF SACRED LITERATURE: The standard 4-year degree granted upon completion of 192 trimester credit hours.
CHRISTIAN EDUCATION CERTIFICATE: The 3-year certificate granted to those planning to be school teachers, nurses, or some other career or to those who do not choose to take the 4-year course. Requires 144 trimester credit hours.
BACHELOR OF THEOLOGY: Granted to those holding a 4-year Bachelor degree upon completing 48 trimester credit hours either in resident or correspondence studies.
MASTER OF SACRED LITERATURE: Granted to those holding a 4-year degree upon completing an additional 96 trimester credit hours or those holding a fifth-year degree upon completion of additional 48 trimester credit hours in resident or research studies.
CORRESPONDENCE CERTIFICATE: Because some find it difficult or under their circumstances impossible to come to Midwestern for resident studies, the school operates Midwestern Correspondence School also. It offers a 4-year home-study course in Biblical and related subjects, annually earning 24 trimester credit hours. Correspondence students who have earned 96 trimester credit hours graduate with a graduation certificate.
To equate semester credit hours with trimester credit hours, one semester hour is equal to one and a half trimester hours. We work to be generous in transferring credit hours for quality work done in educational institutions elsewhere. Many colleges and universities have accepted credits earned here.
